    The official language of the International Meeting on Radiation Processing will be English. Simultaneous translation is not provided.

  • Liability

    The International Irradiation Association, its Organizing Committees and Professional Congress Organizer shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered participants of the 19th International Meeting on Radiation Processing.

  • Lost and Found

    Any lost and found items will be held at the registration desk for the duration of the event. For any unclaimed items after the meeting, please contact IS Event Solutions.

    Entrance to the convention centre, scientific sessions and the exhibit hall will be limited to badge holders only. For security purposes, delegates, accompanying guests and exhibitors must wear their name badges to all social functions.

  • Sales Taxes

    VAT (Taxe sur la valeur ajoutée - TVA) is a consumption tax paid on certain goods and services purchased in France and is included in the sales price of these goods and services. There are four rates of VAT in France :

    20%: This is the standard rate.
    10%: This applies to restaurants, transport, renovation/improvement works and certain medical drugs.
    5.5%: This applies to food, water and non alcoholic beverages, books, special equipment for the disabled and school canteens, some entertainment events and some domestic personal services.
    2.1%: Special rate - applies to medical drugs reimbursed by the French social security, TV licenses, the sale of live animals, press publications and certain entertainment events.

  • Shopping

    The Strasbourg and Bas-Rhin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the Strasbourg Tourist Office, the Strasbourg Events and Strasbourg Convention Bureau, are pleased to announce the launch of the “So Strasbourg” Application.

    Aimed mainly at conference attendees and tourists, this application allows visitors to the capital of Alsace to quickly find the shop they want, either by theme (Origin’Alsace, Luxury, Fashion, Beauty Accessories, Gourmet food, Art/Antiques, Multimedia), or by name (A to Z).

    More than 120 shops in the city centre as well as department stores and shopping malls are listed, together with their opening times and a calculation of the itinerary by geolocation.
